The oxegen festival 2009 in Ireland

After a weeks rain and a poor forcast we decided we couldnt miss the oxegen festival 2009. With a linup featuring Boys Noize, Digitalism, 2 Many DJs, Felix the House Cat and many others we would be foolish to miss it.

The friday kicked off wet as predicted, with our timtables in hand we where ready for the madness of a three day mud fest in the irish countryside. With a bit of debate over who we would see first we ventured in to the arena, greated with more monsoon style rain and mud similar  to the trenches of world war one we sought sanctury in the Bicardi Room.

Were we witnessed the beat boxing talents of  Beardyman. For those of you who dont know of him he is a beatboxer who utalises samplers and effects to create the beastyiest of tunes. We ventured on from here to Pendulem who blew the place appart as was expected. From there we legged it over to 2 many DJs, for me and many others this was the highlight of the weekend.

And that was Friday night.

The rest of the weekend featured great sets overall from many other DJs, loads of rain, mud, beer and tent madness.
